Kari and Jacob
This is my son’s friend Kari. She has become like another one of the family…and with so many of us it is easy to lose track of who is who sometimes. However I can tell you that there is a lot of love floating around our home. Jacob loves his siblings…and they love him.
Trick or Treat with my kids
I went to some doors with my little ones and my grandson and is parents and my new son-in-law and daughter. We had a lot of fun that night. I wish everyone could have this much fun. Enjoy the donut!

I went with Antoinette, Daniel and Penelope on Halloween trick or treating for the first block or so. It is so much fun to go with the kids. I am pretty sure I am having more fun than they are most of the time!
Sam’s Eagle project work party
My son Sam finished his Boy Scout Eagle project a couple of weeks ago. He made a Horse Shoe pit for the Utah Developmental school for the disabled. We will be having his court of honor sometime around the first of the year when all the paper work gets back from the national scouting office. Everyone is invited to come and celebrate! We are proud of him and his accomplishments.
Halloween Musical chairs
Halloween Musical chairs was one of the activities at our Fall Festival…and it was fun to watch my wife pull the older kids out of the seats so the little kids could sit on them!
Nacho Libre and the Halloween Parade
Nacho Libre and the Halloween Parade. We had a Fall Festival at our church building a couple of days before Halloween. Everyone had fun, especially the Rutter family! Here is Stewart’s wife and son’s, one of them, Sam, was dressed up as Nacho Libre…it was all great fun.
The Halloween Parade
The Halloween Parade took place at our Fall Festival that the young men in our church organized for us all. It was a lot of fun for all who participated. My son Daniel was the pirate, Antoinette was the fairy princess and Thing 1 & 2Thanks to the young men and their leaders for making this such a fun event.
The Newlyweds and the White boys
The Newlyweds and the White boys (as in that is their last name, the White’s) where at our home along with the rest of our children and grandchild. It was a fun, short reunion of sorts. It always a happy time to have all of them home.

Hi Everyone! My name is Nicole Ruttig, and I am a part of Synergy Team Global as well as a finalist for the 2009 Redken cover competition in Canada and I need your votes to help me win the competition. In January of this year I was first introduced to Synergy. Dr. Nick Martinuik had preformed the CPW test on me and I found out just how bad off I was and that day will forever be the turning point in my life. The next day I styled my model Danielle’s hair, took a picture and then mailed it in. Well, a few weeks later I decided to become a distributor and by the persistence of Dr. Nick telling me how going to an open house would change my life I decided May is when we could go.
There were 7 of us that planned on going on the trip together. Everything was arranged, how we were going, when we would leave and then I got an email telling me that I was a finalist for the Redken Cover Competition and needed to be in Edmonton, Alberta on the Monday May 11th with my model to recreate my look. I was torn!!!! How was this going to work?? I had to attend the competition and I could not pass up going to the open house. I would just make it work!!! I booked a flight from Salt Lake City to Edmonton almost immediately after I realized that we would be back home on the day before I needed to be at the competition.
My wonderful employees (whom I am grateful for) met me in Edmonton to support my adventure and my model with her husband made the journey to meet me there. We competed on the Monday and won for the province of Saskatchewan. Wow what an experience!!! First go to Utah and realize how life changing it was, Dr. Nick was right!!! (Thank you Dr. Nick) Then go to Edmonton and win for my province!! What an amazing experience!!
So that takes me to the next step, going to Montreal and competing with the other 6 finalists for the chance to be the winner of the 2009 Redken Cover Competition. Funny thing is that the Leadership Conference happened to be 2 weeks later. How amazing is that, both Synergy and my hair competition once again so close to being at the same time!!!
So now that brings us to today. I need your support to help me win the competition; the most votes win, kind of like American Idol of hair!!
The competition voting is from October 1st till October 28th. We will find out who the winner will be starting on November 15th, hmmmm is that close to when we go to Japan to the Global Summit!!!! How crazy is that!!! Everything has come together Synergy and my hairstyling. I am so grateful and blessed for what I have gained with Synergy and thankful that Dr. Nick was there that faithful day!!!
