Hypertension and Nutrient Supplement study (HANS)

This is a study that is being done with Washington State University in collaboration with Dr. Rainer Boger that is comparing Pro-Argi9 to placebo in a 12 week double-blind trial. The study will compare baseline measures of Blood Pressure, CASP, ADMA and LpPlac2 (a vascular specific inflammatory marker) to repeated endpoint measures. Dr. Kathy Beerman (a nutrition professor from WSU) and Gretchen Millard (Registered Dietitian) are co-primary investigators. We have 19 hypertensive men currently enrolled and are recruiting until we reach our target of 60 participants. This is an exciting project and we are so grateful for the support we have received so far. Our first group should be finishing and tranferring to our open label extension by October. We should have more to share in the coming months.
