High Desert Heart Institute heart study call
This is the recording of the conference call from this last Wednesday, 2-24-10, with Dan SwinDell, Dan Austin, Angelo Cici and Richard Alheim. We had well over 170 on the call. Lost the camera
I thought I was being sneaky…and I was…but as I went to pull down the guide inot the water that was with the Japanese team I lost my grip on the camera. As it fell to the bottom of the river I was in a bit of a panic…you can see my hand as it tries to reach down and grab it…but the life vest kept me up to high. What you didn’t see was my Japanese friend came over to help out….I had to put my foot on his back and push him down to grab the camera and as you will see…he grabed it from the bottom of the river for me…Thank YOU!
Team Japan takes down our guide
Our Japanese friends took down our guide, Danny, into the water. The deal between them was, whatever guide went into the water had to buy a round of beer. These Japanese were always up to some kind of trouble…fun all the time.
Funny…the rescue from the rock
This is the rescue of the stranded rafters from our Indonesia Team. They were good sports about it and we had a lot of fun teasing them and their guide. Enjoy.
FUNNY! Stuck on a rock
This video is my favorite…I laughed until I cried…they got stuck on the rock and the guide that was with them finally freed the raft but left all the passengers behind! Very funny…at least to me and our team on our raft. Enjoy…and the follow-up video I will show next is very funny too.
2nd last chance to float in the river
Danny, our river guide, kept telling us that this was the “last chance” to get in and go for a swim…so we started teasing him about it. What a relaxing fun trip it was.
White water underwater
I was being a bit silly while floating down the river…and we were giving our Canadian friends a hard time…and then I took the camera under to the water so you can see how clear the water was for river water..
Team Japan passes and the vultures overhead
Our Japan friends came by and started a friendly game of water fight…then Bart asked me to turn the camera upward to video the flock of vultures circling us overhead…which you can barely pick out some of them. It was like they were waiting to eat us for dinner!
Tectonics interupted
So Nicole Blad and Danny, our river guide, were explaining to Bart Woodcook, Karen and me how the earth was formed and was exposed by the rocks in he video when….of course we were attack by another raft, again.
Ben attacks defenseless Eric
Ben Magalei, corporate executive, decided it was too much of a temptation to resist splashing me while I was floating in the water…and of course Roxanne Seely was fine with helping him out!
